My research aims to explore the role of exosomes in enabling drug resistance and relapse in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) through their involvement with drug-tolerant persister cells (DTPs). My initial focus is on understanding exosome biology—how they form, function, and facilitate cellular communication. The study will analyze the molecular cargo of exosomes and investigate how they contribute to DTP survival and the tumor microenvironment. Ultimately, my work  seeks to identify experimental evidence and therapeutic strategies that target exosome-mediated persistence to improve TNBC treatment outcomes.
