I am starting my investigation into the critical role of autophagy in drug-tolerant persister cells (DTPs) within triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). My goal is to understand the intricate relationship between these elements and their implications for cancer treatment. To build a comprehensive understanding, I will begin by gathering foundational knowledge on autophagy, DTPs, and TNBC individually. This will involve exploring the mechanisms of autophagy, the characteristics and significance of DTPCs in cancer resistance, as well as the molecular features and clinical challenges associated with TNBC.
