My research is focused on unraveling how epigenetic regulation and tumor-derived secretomes contribute to drug tolerance in gastric cancer drug-tolerant persister cells (DTPs). My initial approach involves defining the biological traits of DTPs and investigating the individual roles of each molecular factor in therapy resistance. I aim to understand their interactions and collective influence on cell survival, signaling, and tumor adaptation. With an emphasis on scholarly and medical literature, I am acquiring fundamental knowledge to guide my analysis. My next steps include exploring key molecular connections and identifying therapeutic strategies that target these mechanisms to overcome drug resistance in gastric cancer.
